He does that via the pleasingly melodious, bright and breezy 'Spiralen' - another genre-blurring affair in which layered synth lines, atmospheric female lead vocals, dreamy chords and sustained synth-strings rise above a bouncy, Afro-house-tinged deep house groove. The veteran German producer's love of wonky electronics, strange sounds and deep, dusty grooves comes to the fore on flip-side 'Wo's Patric', where music box style melodies rub shoulders with oddball electronics.
