The first fruits of Satoshi Tomiie and Tomoki Tamura's creative partnership, 2024's immersive and frequently ultra-deep Dream Sketches album, was something of a sonic delight, so hopes are naturally high for this EP-length follow-up. As you'd perhaps expect, it's a more expressively dancefloor-focused affair than its predecessor, with A-side 'Indian Summer' delivering delay and reverb-laden hypnotic deepness rich in rising and falling bass, dub techno sonics, and subtle shifts in focus. 'NYC' sees the Japanese duo add raw, tight acid lines and sprightly synth-strings stabs to their hypnotic, locked-in blueprint, while 'Loose' is a druggy, tech-tinged stab of dub techno influenced house wonkiness.
